The objective here was to come up with 10 words that would make up some guidelines for me to live by. I love manifestos - they're the infrastructure for my universe - they erase boundaries in other areas for me to shape who I am moment to moment.

Lastly, I can't find the exact source of this information but I read "The Omnivore’s Dilemma" by Michael Pollan where he talks about the "Artisanal Model" - It's not verbatim but you'll get the idea. I like this as a business model.

B. Create an exceptional product – Create something special
C. Create an exceptional service
D. Keep expenses down
E. Don’t grow for the sake of growing
F. Keep variation based on seasonality
G. Serve the local market – serve them and build on those relationships
H. Don’t use investments to reach a national market
I. Keep your overhead low
J. Rely on reputation and word of mouth rather than advertising
